When Sydney Sweeney’s American Eagle ad boasted she has ‘great jeans’ liberals didn’t just hear a pun – they heard a dog whistle for eugenics and racism.
TikTok erupted with cries of ‘Nazi propaganda’ and The New Yorker sneered at Sweeney as an ‘Aryan princess’ seducing ‘gullible straight men’.
Why the meltdown over a denim ad?
Because Sweeney’s a hot, blonde, rumoured Republican, and the left can’t stand that conservatives are winning the culture war – and the beauty pageant.
This isn’t about ideology; it’s jealousy dressed up as virtue.
Science says conservatives are hotter, happier, and harder to control, so naturally the left wants to drag them down.
Would a less gorgeous actress face this outrage? If Sweeney were a frumpy nobody, would social media be flooded with claims her ‘genes/jeans’ pun promotes white supremacy? In fact, they’d have championed it as DEI.
As conservative commentator quipped, ‘Liberals just hate hot people.’
Sweeney’s all-American beauty, rumoured GOP registration, and the ad’s 30 per cent boost to American Eagle’s stock make her a perfect target for progressive envy.
One influencer scoffed she’s a ‘basic white girl with no butt’. Isn’t that jab, dripping with racial undertones, a bit hypocritical for the self-appointed diversity police?
The left’s default is to slap a Nazi label on anyone they dislike, but this is a stretch even for them.
It’s not about the ad – it’s about Sweeney embodying a conservative ideal they’ve spent years demonising.
Science confirms what we’ve all noticed: conservatives are hotter and stronger.
A 2017 Cambridge University Press study found that attractive people are more likely to identify as conservative or Republican.
A 2023 study using AI to analyse Danish political candidates showed the most attractive women lean conservative, with happiness expressions tied to conservatism for both genders.
For men, the physically stronger you are, the more likely you are to be conservative – tough in body and mind, making conservatives harder to control by woke dogma.
Just look at conservatives like GB News’ Tom Harwood and podcaster Jordan Knight – the sharpest dressers and wittiest voices around, running circles around the left’s Harry Sisson or Taylor Swift. With Melania Trump, Fox’s Bill Melugin, and Italian PM Giorgia Meloni also in the mix, the right is clearly dominating both style and substance.
I’ll admit, as a conservative, I might be biased, but the data backs the trend: our side’s got the looks.
And Conservatives aren’t just hotter and stronger – they’re happier.
A recent analysis from statistician Nate Silver found conservatives report better mental health across all demographics, thanks to their optimism, and robust values like faith and family.
Liberals deny beauty and strength because they prove genetic advantages exist, clashing with their egalitarian dogma that everyone’s equal in every way.
Funnily enough, a 2017 study, ironically referencing some data from Labor’s Andrew Leigh, showed Australian voters rate right-wing politicians as more attractive – it’s why Andrew Hastie is a no-brainer to win government back for the Libs, as studies show more attractive politicians win more votes.
The left’s obsession with body positivity doesn’t help.
They’ve hijacked it to demonise traditional beauty, pushing ‘diversity’ while slamming anyone who fits classic standards – like Sweeney.
Why not reclaim body positivity for actually beautiful people, not just a diversity checkbox? Calvin Klein tried woke marketing with pregnant men and tanked, only to backflip to good-looking models.
Corporate America is taking notes from Sweeney’s success.
Dunkin’ Donuts leaned in with an ad thanking ‘genetics’ for a summery tan.
These brands get it: people want aspiration, not lectures.
Sweeney’s ad, praised by Trump as the ‘hottest’ out there, has jeans flying off the shelves because it embraces what liberals loathe: unapologetic beauty, strength, and confidence.
This is the culture war in a nutshell.
While liberals cry ‘white supremacy’ over a pun, conservatives like Sweeney are winning hearts, markets, and raising money for domestic violence victims.
The left’s tantrum proves they’re rattled by our side’s looks, cheer, and defiance.
They can keep their misery – conservatives will keep rocking better vibes, better bods, and better jeans.
Try picking a better fight.
