The ‘trust the science’ people must be thrilled. Donald Trump has upheld biological reality against deluded activism.
Defending women from gender ideology extremism and restoring biological truth to the federal government was signed on January 20. It was an executive order explicitly aimed at ‘ideologues who deny the biological reality of sex’ who have ‘increasingly used legal and other socially coercive means to permit men to self-identify as women and gain access to intimate single-sex spaces and activities designed for women’.
Yikes. Someone needs to organise a welfare check on the Australian political class and most of the judicial system. No need to bother with the press. They are squawking like a flock of seagulls around the body of a flattened comrade on the tram tracks, trying to decide what’s chip and what’s feather.

We are approaching a point in Australia where it could become illegal to print biological truth. Yes, our political system has broken our society and unlike America, we have a pair of insipid major parties who would rather pander to ideology than protect living, breathing women.
‘Basing Federal policy on truth is critical to scientific inquiry, public safety, morale, and trust in government itself.’
This. It could not be said better.
‘Invalidating the true and biological category of woman improperly transforms laws and policies designed to protect sex-based opportunities into laws and policies that undermine them, replacing longstanding, cherished legal rights and values with an identity-based, inchoate social concept.’
Not only does this executive order erase the million-or-so invented variations on the gender theme, it stipulates that gender is immutable. By law, whatever you were conceived as is what you will remain, regardless of feelings, immaterial to dress, and irrelevant of emotion. The law will treat you according to reality, not desire.
‘Sex is not a synonym for and does not include the concept of gender identity.’
And as for those in the Australian Department of Health who, when asked for a definition of woman, infamously took the question on notice. How about this?
‘Women or woman and girls or girl shall mean adult and juvenile human females, respectively. Female means a person belonging, at conception, to the sex that produces the large reproductive cell.’
See how easy it is? Whatever Australia is paying the health bureaucracy, it is too much.
America has 30 days to unpick gender theory from its scaffolding. Agencies must remove all policies and statements that promote gender theory and immediately stop promoting it via messages and statements. Forms have to remove gender identity and official identification documents – passports, visas, entry cards, etc – have to ensure they reflect biological sex.
Federal grants for gender ideology are also gone.
And, if you are a bloke in a women’s prison, you are about to be evicted.
The federal government has also been ordered to purge itself of all doctrine that aligns with gender ideology.
This is one of those documents you wish you could copy-paste straight into Australian law.
There is something immensely satisfying in watching America strip itself of Woke – not gradually, but immediately. It is the shedding of a suffocating exoskeleton that has constrained the free world in an artificial shape.
Activists are furious, but it is time to speak the truth. There is nothing oppressive or discriminatory about reality. Human beings cannot change their gender and no one should be forced to deny reality for fear of a misguided law.
In Australia, we are still coerced to lie and women are still the victims of an increasingly aggressive ideological movement.
Trump has declared a colourblind, merit-based, and biologically sound society. This is something that should be celebrated and then replicated.
Once America is done erasing the so-called safe spaces, it will be headed into space.
