The death of the American legal system is the rebirth of Trump

Today we announce the death of the US legal system. The death of Justice. The death of Democracy. And the death of America.

Former President Donald Trump emerged from the result of the world’s most flimsy political witch trial to say this:

‘This was a rigged, disgraceful trial. The real verdict will be on November 5th [the election] by the people. They know what happened here. Everybody knows what happened here … I didn’t do a thing wrong. I am a very innocent man. And it’s okay. I’m fighting for our country. I’m fighting for our Constitution. The whole country is being rigged right now. This is being done by the Biden Administration in order to hurt or wound a political opponent. We will fight to the end and we’ll win.’

As Chairman of The Spectator, Andrew Neil, writes this morning:

‘A unanimous New York jury found [Donald Trump] guilty on all 34 counts of illegally trying to cover up a $130,000 payment to porn star Stormy Daniels to stifle a sex scandal that he feared would derail his 2016 presidential campaign only days before America went to the polls.’

Andrew Neil continues:

‘Paying the hush money was not, in itself, illegal, but the prosecution successfully argued that it was designed to influence the outcome of the election – a violation of election laws and, argued the prosecutors, the underlying crime.’

Donald Trump’s lawyers now have 30 days on the clock to launch their appeal against what has been described as a ‘highly contentious verdict’.

US Senator for South Carolina, Tim Scott, said earlier:

‘Absolute injustice. This erodes our justice system. Here me clearly: you cannot silence the American people. You cannot stop us from voting for change. Joe Biden – you’re fired. We, the People, stand with Donald J. Trump.’

Even if the crimes were to be taken at face value, as many have pointed out, anyone else would be given a slap on the wrist – if that.

And while it has robbed Trump of some basic rights – including the right to vote – it will not prevent him from continuing his election campaign to reach the White House.

Instead, what the Democrats have done – with their shocking abuse of the legal system – is to turn Trump into a martyr – a symbol of all that is corrupt, dodgy, underhanded, and sinister about the Democrat regime.

Mere seconds after the verdict was announced, Joe Biden’s official Twitter account posted a call to arms.

Said Biden – or more likely – a young aid speaking on behalf of Biden:

‘There’s only one way to keep Donald Trump out of the Oval Office: At the ballot box. Donate to our campaign today!’

He may as well have tweeted: ‘We locked him up – now give us your money!’

At least the community notes have a sense of humour, correcting Biden by saying:

‘There are many ways to keep someone out of the Oval Office, such as making a mockery of the criminal justice system.’

Keeping Trump out of the White House seems unlikely.

Trump’s campaign donation site crashed following the verdict, with supporters racing to shower money on the very public victim of a rising socialist regime flexing its dictatorial power in full view of a terrified America.

Even the never-Trumpers are starting to realise that a Trump victory is essential.

The people see this as a punishment directed at the only President in modern times who never started a war. The only President who made it his priority to clear out the bureaucracy – the Deep State – a nest of nameless creatures that subvert democracy and make the process of election little more than tedious paper-pushing and a revenue-raising activity.

You better believe that MAGA America will come out in droves to vote for Trump.

They will fill the streets to vote for Trump.

Sensing the collapse of the American identity, they will vote for Trump as a way to punish the Biden regime. And the Democrats should be punished. For all their sins. For all their nameless and shameless crimes. For their abuse of the American people, their complete disregard for the safety of those towns along the southern border, and for the collapse of their so-called ‘sanctuary cities’ where the most vulnerable are pushed out of their schools and shelters to make way for the new Democrat voters – the voters who walked across the border in the dead of night – the voters that can be easily bribed to vote BLUE while the country dies.

There are Democrat cities that look like scenes form the Walking Dead and Central Business Districts that are more dangerous than the fringes of Mexico.

Editor-in-Chief of The Spectator Australia Rowan Dean said on Twitter this morning:

‘Day of shame for America – Donald Trump found “guilty” of a non-existent crime. This will be thrown out on appeal unless the entire system is rotten to the core. In which case God save America.’

Yes. It is shameful.

The Democrat party, led by President Joe Biden, has proven itself to be infested with the faceless cast of bad actors, rich friends, political leeches, and those who love power more than America. These people have manipulated the nation’s laws, radicalised the courts, prejudiced juries, and abused the office of the President.

As Kevin McCarthy, the 55th Speaker of the House, said this morning on Twitter:

‘President Trump’s only “crime” is running against Joe Biden in 2024. The American people see right through this weaponisation of the legal system.’

And what does the statement say on the official ‘please give us money’ page for the Democrat campaign?

‘WE MUST STOP DONALD TRUMP. Trump and his MAGA extremist allies pose an existential threat to the future of our democracy and our nation. We are counting on this team to invest in the necessary resources to stop him.’

That is not normal political rhetoric. That is not a contest of ideas. That is not a battle for the direction of America. It is a witch hunt.

We call this lawfare. Law as warfare.

Charles J Dunlap Jr described it as ‘…a method of warfare where law is used as a means of realising a military objective…’ and ‘…the exploitation of real, perceived, or even orchestrated incidents of law-of-war violations being employed as an unconventional means of confronting a superior military power…’

Or in this case, the superior political power of former President Donald Trump against the sick, confused, crumbling, and dangerous regime of Joe Biden.

It is the use of the law as a weapon to delegitimise an opponent – to bankrupt their ability to survive – and to generally rob them of their basic rights in death by a thousand small legal wounds.

The Biden-Harris team released a campaign statement on the verdict.

It began, ‘In New York today, we saw that no one is above the law.’

To that I would say – except for Hunter Biden. Except for Epstein’s alleged clients. Except for those in the Biden regime responsible for leaving $212 million dollars worth of weapons in the hands of the Taliban. I could sit here all day reading off the list of people who are above the law.

The Democrats go on:

‘Convicted felon or not, Trump will be the Republican nominee for President. The threat Trump poses to our democracy has never been greater. He is running an increasingly unhinged campaign of revenge and retribution, pledging to be a dictator “on day one” and calling for our Constitution to be “terminated” so he can regain and keep power. A second Trump term means chaos, ripping away Americans’ freedoms and fomenting political violence.’

Have you ever heard such an unhinged tower of lies?

Such a desperate political whinge from a regime that can feel the millions of angry Americans clawing at its roots…

Make no mistake, the fight is on. The usual ambivalent voting base of mainstream America has been enraged.

Said Tucker Carlson:

‘Import the Third World, become the Third World. That’s what we just saw. This won’t stop Trump. He’ll win the election if he’s not killed first. But it does mark the end of the fairest justice system in the world.’

Readers, friends of democracy, loyal defenders of the Enlightenment – this changes everything that we thought we knew about the rule of law and it confirms our worst fears about the Democrat Party.

Biden, Harris, and whomever is tugging at the puppet strings of the President, present the real threat to democracy and indeed, to the whole world. American’s influence is far reaching and so too, it seems, is their darkness.

But we must not give up hope. The Democrats can run all the unhinged propaganda campaigns that they like – but they cannot stop Trump from running and they cannot stop you from voting. Not yet. That last protection – that last shred of democracy – hangs before you.
