In Queensland, parents and teachers alike are aghast at a new directive which has been issued by the commissars at the Department of Education. In an email leaked to The Courier Mail, teachers were told that if little Johnny decides that ‘he’ is a ‘she’, they had better go along with it or else. But when interacting with little Johnny’s parents, they should pretend that everything is fine and continue to use the pronouns of his birth, i.e. reality.

This means that unelected woke bureaucrats are compelling teachers’ speech, forcing them to lie and mandating that they consent to the fiction that gender is mutable.

According to the Queensland Human Rights Commission’s Trans At School guide, children have legal protections under the Human Rights Act 2019 to protect their ‘vulnerability’.  It claims that “in the context of education, this means that children in Queensland have a human right to a public education that enables them to develop to their full potential, caters for their individual circumstances, and allows them to express their individual identity.”

This is what happens when you hand your children over to the state. The only potential that children in Queensland, indeed the entire country should develop at school, is their potential to be literate, numerate and knowledgeable human beings.
