China’s Covid response ‘a miracle in the history of human civilisation’

Someone is lying about Covid – we just need to work out who it is…

The Chinese Communist Party held onto draconian Covid health orders for longer than anyone else because they offered the CCP near unlimited political power – and that’s saying something, given China is already held captive by one of the most abusive political systems.

Even for citizens perpetually traumatised by the world’s largest surveillance state, the situation reached breaking point. Whether it was being welded into their apartments and left to die, goons clad in PPE breaking in and dragging family members away, spraying thousands of litres of toxic chemicals over the streets, entire blocks of apartments screaming at drones flying through the darkness, or people jumping from high rises to escape the eternal misery – something had to give.

‘Covid Zero’ collapsed, with the official end of the policy transpiring at the end of 2022 after Covid outbreaks became impossible to hide from the press. More to the point, and perhaps the real reason for the death of Covid Zero, was the growing political outrage that saw police and officials attacked by usually timid residents. They flipped cars, blockaded banks, and accosted food convoys. The CCP regime had a choice to make, increase force and risk a full-scale revolution, or weather the embarrassment of failure. They chose the later.

In order to justify their previous behaviour, the CCP used their state-owned press to release a range of frightening headlines. We were supposed to believe that there was some sort of medical collapse in the days following the dismantling of the Covid Zero flagship – unfortunately for the CCP, they already tried to run that line at the beginning of the pandemic and so the world’s press turned their back on Beijing. It was a global shoulder shrug.

There is no point referencing China’s infection or death figures as they are wildly held to be a complete fantasy, but given what we know from every other nation, there is no chance that Covid has limped off into the sunset. It will be working its way through each province where, by in large, only a small fraction of the very ill and malnourished are likely to end up seeking medical assistance.

Strangely, according to the official narrative, China’s Covid problem has evaporated. Instead of realistic headlines about the progress of the virus similar to what you would see in a flu season, we’re treated to a laughable PR campaign.

‘The Chinese government has declared a “decisive victory” in the battle against Covid, claiming it had created “a miracle in the history of human civilisation” in successfully steering China through the global pandemic,’ said The Guardian, quoting a meeting held in the presence of President Xi Jinping.

It is hyperbolic nonsense, but don’t hold your breath waiting for the World Health Organisation to tap them on the shoulder with a warning for bending the truth.

The meeting also claimed that China had ‘the lowest level of death in the world’ which is a very easy claim to make when the statistics are cooked up by the regime in a Level 4 viral lab.

You can’t have stories persisting for months about ‘China’s crematoriums being overwhelmed by bodies’ and then pair it with ‘the lowest death toll – like – evah…’ (to quote some of the social media observers).

Some researchers, who appear reluctant to call the CCP liars in print, have attempted to justify the ludicrous impasse of logic. They offer that the under-counts are partially explained by China’s practice of only recording deaths in hospitals along with the exclusion of patients that die of other known Covid complications, such as heart attacks and liver failure. This means you could be dying of Covid in hospital, have a heart attack, and never make it onto the Covid death register. To complicate the situation further, ‘at least nine cities in different parts of China, including Beijing, have stopped publishing quarterly cremation totals’. These researchers instead put the death toll somewhere between 1-1.5 million. It’s probably higher, given the lack of visibility in remote and rural communities where healthcare is non-existent.

China officially admits to 87,468 deaths. To put that in perspective, India – with a similar population size – reports 531,000. It’s difficult to compare this to the 1.12 million deaths reported in America give those deaths are suspected to be over-reported by ‘died with’ false positives, the widespread assumption that anyone with flu-like symptoms had Covid (which was not always tested among elderly deaths), and significant financial incentives for Covid cases.

Covid statistics around the world may never be usable given the known levels of poor record keeping, corruption, lying, and unknowns. From a data perspective, it has been a disaster. While Covid deaths were vastly over-reported, vaccine side-effects were under-reported to the point that doctors were struck off for daring to raise the alarm. You could almost say we know more about the death rate of the Black Death than Covid because Medieval governments weren’t actively burying their mistakes in the data.

Interestingly, China’s Covid lies do reveal a few truths about Covid – the endless bragging about death tolls and daily fear-mongering press conferences were pointless. Civilisation does not collapse, it copes and moves on. Yes, it is tragic that people die but humans always die and it is debatable whether we can do anything about respiratory viruses. The number of people who were going to die of Covid is probably roughly the same whether civilisation shut itself down in a panic or let it rip and fell back on natural immunity behaviour (which quashed several earlier pandemics before health authorities took hold of society). The difference comes with the unnecessary numbers of excess deaths caused entirely by government anti-Covid measures. It is entirely plausible that the World Health Organisation and our domestic health authorities exaggerated the death rate through their dictatorial behaviour. They certainly increased our misery and created civil unrest that is yet to heal.

Returning to China’s declaration about being some kind of medical Utopia. China propaganda likes to invoke the term ‘miracle’ because it’s a nifty way to explain the otherwise inexplicable lies of the CCP. They call their international aid campaign a ‘miracle’ but leave out the debt-trap policy leading to the acquisition of third-world assets and land. Their engineering feats are ‘miracles’ but no one hears about the destroyed cities and sacred sites sitting underwater or blown to bits. The list goes on.

What’s less of a miracle are the consequences of Covid’s three-year Zero Covid policy which cannot be hidden from the world with a few clever headlines. The beating heart of China’s factory industry looks like it’s had four booster shots of stupid. Parts of Guangzhou have the same problem as London, where workers are too terrified to come back and those that have are faced with desperate conditions. Added to their hesitancy are their memories of violent police action against them during lockdown, low wages, and closed businesses. Actually – that sounds about the same as London…

The communist paradise of China that leaders like Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau amorously side-eye doesn’t look so good close up. As reported by the Japan Times, one factory owner described trying to get workers to return as follows:

‘Imagine that you are far away from home in a megacity where your salary for your entire life can’t afford a house, you live in a tiny old room with a shared toilet with many others and work 12 hours a day. The only goal is to make and save as much money as possible,’ Tang said in an interview in early February. ‘But then the lockdown came. You don’t know how long you’ll have no pay at all.’

Migrant workers in China have been snapped out of their dystopian life and they don’t want to go back, which is bad news for the world’s biggest, most virtuous global brands. Many are returning to their regional communities and demanding local authorities fix the lax services which have been ignored for decades. The workers’ paradise has been seen for the nightmare it really is and there’s nothing the CCP can do to fix it other than loosen the bindings of communism.

Outsourcing manufacturing to China was a foolish decision by the West and, in the grand scheme of things, it will prove to be a short-lived arrangement. If domestic trends in China continue, Western businesses will either have to go begging at India’s door or dismantle the stranglehold of Union power and re-instate more reasonable and affordable factory work at home.

It doesn’t take long for trade supremacy to switch, and if the Port of Shenzhen keeps bailing out on its pre-arranged capacity, we’re going to see more nimble nations fill the gap. This situation is not helped by the sudden end to Covid-era products. The world has lost interest in masks, RAT tests, and PPE leading to huge worker lay-offs leaving workers to fill the streets shouting, ‘Give us our money back!’ We know how you feel…

China’s wealth is a drip-feed straight from Western businesses. It cannot maintain a slave-like working class and a rising middle class. Every nation in history that tries ends up with a catastrophic class struggle that knocks it out of the game for a while. A bit of domestic strife in China might be the best thing for world security – especially if your name happens to be Taiwan.

Meanwhile, spare a thought for the ‘blank paper’ Covid protesters. 16 of them are in police detention and the rest are missing, presumed to be killed by the emotionally immature regime. Members of the New Citizens’ Movement are calling for an increase to government transparency – especially into the accumulated wealth of the ruling political class.

How do the West’s die-hard communists explain Xi Jinping’s $1.2 billion net worth?

All we know for certain is that the world has been lied to – from the first flap of a bat’s wing in Wuhan to the fine print on the side of vaccine bottles. It’s easy to laugh at China’s ‘we’re a miracle!!!’ propaganda, but let’s not forget what the West got up to a few years ago…
